>>student council room
Himari: Fuhaa… At the end of the day, the student council room is the most relaxing place to be ♪
But if the Student Council President Re-election actually takes place, and I lose—I won’t get to come here again.
I don’t want that to happen, so I have to roll up my sleeves and get to work, don’t I?
Mitsuru: Well, what you’ve got going now isn’t bad, you know?
Strategy-wise, "Helping out the students, and raising your popularity among the student body," is turning out to be pretty successful.
I think your reputation is gradually getting better and better, yeah?
Looks like that transfer student-kun is a lot more competent than I thought.
Himari: Mhmm. He’s a reliable guy. Before I realized it, he was helping everyone out.
Including me. He has some kind of power of positivity—the power to make everyone smile.
Oh! Speak of the devil. Great to see you, Lackey-kun!
Mitsuru: He’s really doing you a favor, here, so why don’t you stop calling him ‘Lackey-kun’?
Himari: Hmm… Is it not cute to you, Lackey-kun? It’s my way of showing affection. I say it in a loving way.

Tomoko: I brought the tea.
Mitsuru: Ooh, that’s great—transfer student-kun, you take a break and relax too.
Fufu. Tomoko, your tea hits the spot, just like always ♪
Tomoko: My pleasure.
Perhaps using pig’s blood as the secret ingredient was a prudent decision?
Mitsuru: Ppthh?!
Tomoko: It was a joke.
Mitsuru: It’s hard to tell if you’re joking or not. You look scary, you know?
Fumi: Excuse me.
The student council looks like they’re having fun, as usual.
Himari: Hmm?!
Y-You! The captain of the Newspaper Club, Midori Fumi!
Fumi: Fufu, don’t talk to me like I’m some kind of criminal.
I wasn’t exactly invited here, but the student council’s doors are always open to students, right? Why don’t you welcome me here too?
Himari: W-Who do you think you are?!
If it wasn’t for you and your Newspaper Club making such a big deal about it, the Student Council Re-election wouldn’t even be an issue!
You little gossiping brats! Ppthh! Scoundrel! Get out!
Fumi: Ha! Did you catch that—Hiyono? I can’t believe she would say something so horrible! I’m so hurt…
Hiyono: Ah. Umm… Er…
Fumi: You do understand that those in power who can’t get along with the mass media won’t last long? This will make a great scoop, you know?
Hiyono, write this down: "The Student Council President Hurls Abuse at the Newspaper Club, and Drives Us Out in a Tyrannical Rage."
Hiyono: Um. Er… Okay.
Himari: Aaah~ Ughh. You’re really getting on my nerves. What the hell do you want?!
Fumi: Fufu. We’re the Newspaper Club. Obviously we didn’t come here to play; this is a part of our club activities as well.
notes:
-in case you can't tell 'ppthh' is himari spitting at fumi
-fumi goes ふふん (fufun) every other sentence but i tried making it different... if that bothers you or something i'm probably going to try and stick with 1 from now on but it's kind of tiring to read her going "fufu" or "hehe" or whatever you choose 5 times in 1 chapter.
